पूर्णं वर्षसहस्रं च तपस्तीव्रं महामुने ॥ न कृतं यत्पुरा देवैर्नासुरैरृषिभिर्न च

pūrṇaṃ varṣasahasraṃ ca tapastīvraṃ mahāmune || na kṛtaṃ yat purā devair nāsurair ṛṣibhir na ca

Wahai Mahāmune, selama genap seribu tahun engkau menjalankan tapa yang amat keras—tapa yang dahulu tidak dilakukan oleh para dewa, tidak pula oleh para asura, bahkan tidak oleh para resi.
