The Glory of the Mathurā Sacred Landscape: Saṃyamana Tīrtha and the Twelve Sacred Forests

एकादशी शुक्लपक्षे मासि भाद्रपदे तथा ॥ तस्यां स्नातो नरो देवि कृतकृत्यो हि जायते ॥

ekādaśī śuklapakṣe māsi bhādrapade tathā || tasyāṃ snāto naro devi kṛtakṛtyo hi jāyate ||

Pada hari Ekadasi di paruh terang (Suklapaksa) pada bulan Bhādrapada pula, wahai Devī, seseorang yang mandi suci pada hari itu dikatakan menjadi kṛtakṛtya, yakni telah menunaikan kewajibannya.
