Dīkṣā-sūtra
एकस्य कलशं दद्यात्कर्मकारस्य सुन्दरी ॥ निष्कलं तु शिरः कृत्वा शोणितेन विवर्जितम् ॥
ekasya kalaśaṃ dadyāt karmakārasya sundarī || niṣkalaṃ tu śiraḥ kṛtvā śoṇitena vivarjitam ||
Wahai yang elok, hendaknya diberikan satu kalaśa (tempayan air) kepada pelaksana ritual; dan setelah kepala dicukur sepenuhnya, hendaknya (kulitnya) bebas dari darah.
