Description of the Brāhmaṇa Initiation Procedure

Dīkṣā-sūtra

एवं ततः श्रावयीत दीक्षाकामं वसुन्धरे ॥ छत्रं चोपानहं चैव मनसा चोपकल्पयेत् ॥

evaṃ tataḥ śrāvayīta dīkṣākāmaṃ vasundhare || chatraṃ copānahaṃ caiva manasā copakalpayet ||

Kemudian, dengan cara demikian, wahai Vasundharā, hendaklah calon yang menginginkan dīkṣā mengucapkan/menyatakan rumusnya; dan hendaklah pula secara batin menyiapkan payung serta alas kaki.
