Hymn to Varāha and Pṛthivī’s Inquiry

श्रद्धासि त्वं च देवेश दोषहन्तासि माधव ॥ अण्डजोद्भिज्जस्वेदानां जरायूनां च माधव ॥
śraddhāsi tvaṃ ca deveśa doṣahantāsi mādhava || aṇḍajodbhijjasvedānāṃ jarāyūnāṃ ca mādhava ||
Engkaulah śraddhā (iman suci), wahai Tuhan para dewa; Engkaulah pemusnah cela, wahai Mādhava. Engkaulah pula asas penopang bagi makhluk yang lahir dari telur, tumbuh dari tunas, lahir dari keringat, dan lahir dari rahim, wahai Mādhava.
