एक एवात्मा मन्तव्यो जाग्रत्स्वप्नसुषुप्तिषु । स्थानत्रयव्यतीतस्य पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते ॥११॥

एकः एव आत्मा मन्तव्यः । जाग्रत्-स्वप्न-सुषुप्तिषु । स्थान-त्रय-व्यतीतस्य । पुनः-जन्म न विद्यते ॥११॥

IAST Transliteration

eka evātmā mantavyo jāgrat-svapna-suṣuptiṣu | sthāna-traya-vyatītasya punar-janma na vidyate ||11||

Translation

Dalam keadaan jaga, mimpi, dan tidur lelap, hanya Sang Atman yang patut direnungkan. Bagi yang melampaui tiga keadaan itu, tidak ada kelahiran kembali.

Academic Translation

The Self alone is to be contemplated in the waking, dream, and deep-sleep (states). For one who has gone beyond the three states, there is no rebirth.
