Agastya (continuing narration)
Tirtha: Kṣīrodaka
Type: kund
Scene: Bright-fortnight Ekādaśī morning: a vow-keeper bathes at the tīrtha, then offers cloth/food and dakṣiṇā to a brāhmaṇa seated on a kusa mat near the ghāṭa; calendar symbolism (moon bright) subtly present.
Holy timing (Ekādaśī), pure action (snāna), and compassionate giving (dāna) together complete tīrtha-dharma.
Kṣīrodaka tīrtha (context continued from the chapter’s opening).
On Āśvina bright-fortnight Ekādaśī: bathe at the tīrtha by proper rite and give charity to a dvija according to one’s means.
