Type: ghat
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: A concluding teaching scene: the narrator gently affirms that the ‘true fruit’ has been told; devotees listen with folded hands, the tīrtha’s aura implied rather than shown.
Śravaṇa (reverent listening) with śraddhā is itself a purifying practice and part of pilgrimage-dharma.
Saṃnihityā tīrtha’s māhātmya within Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
No new rite; it emphasizes faithful hearing of the māhātmya as sin-destroying.
