Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) addressing the sages (deduced from Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa Māhātmya style)
Tirtha: Arkasthala (Sūrya-sthāna) within Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Scene: A devotee at dawn facing the rising sun, holding an arghya-vessel above the head; water tinted by red sandalwood, oleander blossoms floating; other pilgrims softly chanting.
Purity (snāna), inner recollection (japa), and reverent offering (arghya) together form a complete act of dharma that aligns the devotee with divine order.
Prabhāsakṣetra (Prabhāsa), within the Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa’s Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya.
Offer Sūrya an arghya of water infused with red sandalwood and karavīra flowers, holding the arghya-vessel on the head while reciting the prescribed mantra.
