तस्मिन्नेव तदा काले पुन र्जज्ञेऽथ मागधः । सामगेषु च गायत्सु स्रुग्भांडाद्वैश्वदेविकात्

tasminneva tadā kāle puna rjajñe'tha māgadhaḥ | sāmageṣu ca gāyatsu srugbhāṃḍādvaiśvadevikāt

Pada saat itu juga, Māgadha terlahir kembali—ketika para penyanyi Sāma sedang melantunkan nyanyian—muncul dari bejana-ladle (sruk) yang dipakai dalam persembahan Vaiśvadeva.
