भित्त्वा वेगाद्धरापृष्ठं प्रविष्टाथ महीतलम् । यदायदाभवच्छ्रांता दह्यते वाडवाग्निना । तदातदा मर्त्यलोके याति प्रत्यक्षतां नदी
bhittvā vegāddharāpṛṣṭhaṃ praviṣṭātha mahītalam | yadāyadābhavacchrāṃtā dahyate vāḍavāgninā | tadātadā martyaloke yāti pratyakṣatāṃ nadī
Dengan deras ia menerobos permukaan bumi lalu masuk ke dalam tanah. Setiap kali ia letih dan tersengat oleh api Vāḍava, pada saat itu pula sungai itu tampak kembali di dunia fana.
