Type: kshetra
Listener: Īśvara (Śiva)
Scene: A seated Devī, serene yet intent, speaks to Īśvara; the atmosphere is contemplative—suggesting samādhi-śravaṇa—while the narrative of Dadhīci’s son and deva-success is invoked as remembered sacred history.
Even intense emotions like righteous indignation are portrayed as forces that, when aligned to dharma, can lead to protection of cosmic order.
Prabhāsakṣetra remains the māhātmya setting; the verse introduces a backstory connected to that sacred geography.
None; Devī states she has ‘heard/known’ the account through samādhi (meditative insight).
