करे ग्रहीतुमारब्धाः स्वकरैर्हृष्टमानसाः । गजस्तान्करसंलग्नान्विचिक्षेप तपोधनान्
kare grahītumārabdhāḥ svakarairhṛṣṭamānasāḥ | gajastānkarasaṃlagnānvicikṣepa tapodhanān
Dengan hati bersukacita mereka mulai memegang belalainya dengan tangan sendiri; namun sang gajah melemparkan para pertapa yang bergelantungan pada belalainya itu jauh-jauh.
