देवेन्द्रवन्द्योद्धर मामनाथं शम्भो कृपाकारुणिकः किल त्वम् । दुःखाऽर्णवे मग्नमुमेश दीनं समुद्धर त्वं भव शंकरोऽसि
devendravandyoddhara māmanāthaṃ śambho kṛpākāruṇikaḥ kila tvam | duḥkhā'rṇave magnamumeśa dīnaṃ samuddhara tvaṃ bhava śaṃkaro'si
Wahai Śambhu, yang dipuja bahkan oleh Indra—angkatlah aku, sebab aku tiada pelindung. Sungguh Engkau wujud kasih dan belas kasih. Wahai Umeśa, aku tenggelam dalam samudra duka, hina dan lemah—selamatkanlah aku, karena Engkau Śaṅkara, pemberi kemuliaan dan keberkahan.
