Transliteration

itihāsapurāṇāni bhidyante kāla gauravāt | skāndaṃ tathā ca brahmāṇḍaṃ purāṇaṃ laiṅgameva ca

Translation

Karena beratnya waktu, Itihāsa dan Purāṇa menjadi terpecah-pecah; demikian pula Skānda, Purāṇa Brahmāṇḍa, dan juga Laiṅga (Liṅga Purāṇa) dijumpai dalam pembagian yang berlainan.
