Transliteration

adhikṛtyābravītsaptakalpavṛttaṃ munivratāḥ | tanmātsyamiti jānīdhvaṃ sahasrāṇi catudarśa

Translation

Wahai para muni yang teguh dalam tapa, beliau menguraikan peristiwa tujuh kalpa; ketahuilah itu sebagai Mātsya (riwayat/Purāṇa), yang berjumlah empat belas ribu bait.
