शापेन ऋषिमुख्यानां भार्गवाणां महात्मनाम् । तस्मिन्निपतिते भूमौ त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम्
śāpena ṛṣimukhyānāṃ bhārgavāṇāṃ mahātmanām | tasminnipatite bhūmau trailokyaṃ sacarācaram
Karena kutuk para resi utama—para Bhārgava yang agung—ketika kutuk itu jatuh ke bumi, maka tiga dunia beserta segala yang bergerak dan tak bergerak pun terjerumus ke dalam keadaan ini.
