स्वर्गे वै यानि तीर्थानि तथैव च रसातले । तपःसामर्थ्ययोगेन ब्रह्मणाऽकर्षितानि च । अतस्तस्यैव नाम्ना तु ब्रह्मकुण्डं तु गीयते
svarge vai yāni tīrthāni tathaiva ca rasātale | tapaḥsāmarthyayogena brahmaṇā'karṣitāni ca | atastasyaiva nāmnā tu brahmakuṇḍaṃ tu gīyate
Segala tīrtha yang ada di surga, dan demikian pula yang di alam bawah—Brahmā, dengan daya tapa, menarik semuanya ke sini. Karena itu tempat ini dipuji dengan nama beliau sendiri sebagai ‘Brahmakuṇḍa’.
