सांब उवाच । कृष्णेनाहं सुरश्रेष्ठ शप्तः पापः सुदुर्मतिः । कुष्ठांतं कुरु मे देव यदि तुष्टोऽसि मे प्रभो
sāṃba uvāca | kṛṣṇenāhaṃ suraśreṣṭha śaptaḥ pāpaḥ sudurmatiḥ | kuṣṭhāṃtaṃ kuru me deva yadi tuṣṭo'si me prabho
Sāmba berkata: “Wahai yang terbaik di antara para dewa, aku yang berdosa dan berakal jahat telah dikutuk oleh Kṛṣṇa. Wahai Tuhan, bila Engkau berkenan, lenyapkanlah kusta ini dariku.”
