केनचित्त्वथ कालेन दुर्भिक्षे समुपस्थिते । अन्नक्षयान्महाराज सर्व लोकः क्षुधार्दितः
kenacittvatha kālena durbhikṣe samupasthite | annakṣayānmahārāja sarva lokaḥ kṣudhārditaḥ
Kemudian pada suatu masa, wahai Mahārāja, ketika kelaparan besar datang, karena persediaan makanan habis, seluruh rakyat tersiksa oleh lapar.
