नारीयं मम साध्वी च प्राणेभ्योऽपि गरीयसी । मच्चित्ता मद्गतप्राणा नित्यं मम हिते रता । अनया चिंतितं ब्रह्मन्सर्वं विस्तरतो वद
nārīyaṃ mama sādhvī ca prāṇebhyo'pi garīyasī | maccittā madgataprāṇā nityaṃ mama hite ratā | anayā ciṃtitaṃ brahmansarvaṃ vistarato vada
“Perempuan ini—istriku yang suci—lebih berharga bagiku daripada nyawa. Pikirannya tertambat padaku, nafas hidupnya tercurah untukku, dan ia senantiasa tekun demi kebaikanku. Wahai Brāhmaṇa, jelaskanlah dengan rinci segala yang telah ia niatkan.”
