āpatantaṃ bhayāttasya praṇaṣṭastripurāṃtakaḥ | sa tadā bhramamāṇaśca itaścetaśca pārthiva

Melihat dia menerjang dengan dahsyat, Tripurāntaka Śiva lenyap karena takut. Lalu, wahai raja, ia mengembara ke sana kemari.
