Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 39
इन्द्र उवाच । न वृथा दर्शनं मे स्यादपि स्वप्ने नगात्मज । किं पुनर्दर्शने जाते कृते कृत्ये विशेषतः
indra uvāca | na vṛthā darśanaṃ me syādapi svapne nagātmaja | kiṃ punardarśane jāte kṛte kṛtye viśeṣataḥ
Indra bersabda: “Wahai putra gunung, penampakan-Ku tidak pernah sia-sia, bahkan dalam mimpi. Apalagi bila engkau melihat-Ku langsung, terlebih ketika tugas yang harus dilakukan telah terselesaikan.”
