एवं तस्य व्रतस्थस्य जग्मुर्वर्षशतानि च । तत्र भीतास्ततो देवा ब्रह्मविष्णुपुरःसराः
evaṃ tasya vratasthasya jagmurvarṣaśatāni ca | tatra bhītāstato devā brahmaviṣṇupuraḥsarāḥ
Demikianlah, ketika ia teguh dalam nazarnya, ratusan tahun pun berlalu. Maka para dewa—dipimpin Brahmā dan Viṣṇu—menjadi takut karena (tapa) itu.
