एष यज्ञोपवीताढ्यो विशेषात्तपसि स्थितः । छलेन निहतः शक्र तेन त्वं पापसंयुतः
eṣa yajñopavītāḍhyo viśeṣāttapasi sthitaḥ | chalena nihataḥ śakra tena tvaṃ pāpasaṃyutaḥ
“Namun yang ini berhias upavīta (benang suci) dan khusus teguh dalam tapa. Ia dibunuh dengan tipu daya, wahai Śakra; karena itu engkau kini terikat oleh dosa.”
