Scene: Brahmā speaks calmly to Indra: the demon is slain and under Death’s sway; Indra is told not to fear, while the devas remain solemn, hinting at a deeper issue.
Dharma includes steadiness of mind—once a harmful force is ended, fear should not dominate the righteous.
No specific site is named in this verse; the tīrtha-theme is developed in subsequent verses.
None here; it is narrative reassurance preparing for the discussion of expiation.
