किमेतद्विहितं पाप त्वया कर्म विगर्हितम् । नैवार्हा मम कान्ताया वक्त्रवीक्षाऽनुरागतः
kimetadvihitaṃ pāpa tvayā karma vigarhitam | naivārhā mama kāntāyā vaktravīkṣā'nurāgataḥ
“Apakah yang kau lakukan ini, wahai pendosa—perbuatan tercela! Dengan keterikatan pada laku demikian, engkau tak layak menatap wajah Devī, kekasihku.”
