Devotee/narrated first-person voice addressing a brāhmaṇa (vipra)
Tirtha: Dina-īśa/Sūrya worship (associated station)
Type: ghat
Listener: vipra (brāhmaṇa) explicitly addressed
Scene: At blazing midday, a devotee offers arghya and flowers to the Sun, standing near a shrine or open courtyard, mind composed and luminous.
Ritual becomes efficacious when performed consistently and inwardly—faith purifies the mind, making worship spiritually potent.
The chapter’s sacred setting continues; the emphasis is on regulated worship within the tīrtha circuit associated with Muṇḍīrasvāmin/Sūrya.
Midday pūjā of Sūrya, following the same established procedure (vidhi), performed with śraddhā.
