सूत उवाच । तच्छ्रुत्वा तस्य ते विप्रा विस्मयोत्फुल्ललोचनाः । साधुवादं तथा चक्रुस्तस्य भूपस्य हर्षिताः
sūta uvāca | tacchrutvā tasya te viprā vismayotphullalocanāḥ | sādhuvādaṃ tathā cakrustasya bhūpasya harṣitāḥ
Sūta berkata: Mendengar ucapan sang raja itu, para brāhmaṇa tersebut terbelalak karena takjub; dengan gembira mereka melantunkan pujian dan restu bagi penguasa itu.
