प्रमाणं कर्मभूतानां सुखदुःखोपपादने । सावधानतया यच्च जाग्रतां स्वपतामपि

pramāṇaṃ karmabhūtānāṃ sukhaduḥkhopapādane | sāvadhānatayā yacca jāgratāṃ svapatāmapi

Dalam melahirkan bahagia dan derita, karma sendirilah ukuran yang menentukan. Ia bekerja dengan ketepatan yang tak meleset bagi manusia, baik saat terjaga maupun saat tidur.
