वैशाख्यां यो नरस्तत्र कृत्वा श्राद्धं समाहितः । ततः पश्यति देवेशं महाकाल इति स्मृतम् । पूजयेद्दक्षिणां मूर्तिं समाश्रित्य द्विजोत्तमाः
vaiśākhyāṃ yo narastatra kṛtvā śrāddhaṃ samāhitaḥ | tataḥ paśyati deveśaṃ mahākāla iti smṛtam | pūjayeddakṣiṇāṃ mūrtiṃ samāśritya dvijottamāḥ
Barang siapa pada bulan Vaiśākha melakukan śrāddha di sana dengan pikiran terpusat, sesudah itu ia akan menyaksikan Dewa para dewa, yang dikenal sebagai Mahākāla. Wahai yang terbaik di antara para dwija, hendaknya ia memuja wujud yang menghadap ke selatan, dengan berlindung padanya.
