तस्यां यः कुरुते स्नानं मासि वै फाल्गुने नरः । सोपवासः सिताष्टम्यां वांछितं लभते च सः
tasyāṃ yaḥ kurute snānaṃ māsi vai phālgune naraḥ | sopavāsaḥ sitāṣṭamyāṃ vāṃchitaṃ labhate ca saḥ
Barangsiapa mandi suci di sumur itu pada bulan Phālguna dan berpuasa pada hari kedelapan paruh terang (Śukla Aṣṭamī), ia memperoleh anugerah yang diidamkan.

When devotion is paired with disciplined observance (snāna and upavāsa) at a tīrtha, one’s rightful aims are fulfilled through dharma.
The sin-destroying vāpī near Agastya-kuṇḍa described in the preceding verse.
Bathed in the vāpī during Phālguna and observe a fast on śuklāṣṭamī (bright 8th lunar day) for fulfillment of wishes.
