तथान्या धेनवो याश्च संस्थिता गोकुलांतिके । शृण्वंतु वचनं मह्यं कुर्वंतु च ततः परम् । अद्याहं निजयूथस्य भ्रमंती नातिदूरतः
tathānyā dhenavo yāśca saṃsthitā gokulāṃtike | śṛṇvaṃtu vacanaṃ mahyaṃ kurvaṃtu ca tataḥ param | adyāhaṃ nijayūthasya bhramaṃtī nātidūrataḥ
‘Demikian pula, biarkan sapi-sapi lain yang tinggal di dekat pemukiman gembala mendengarkan kata-kataku dan bertindak sesuai dengan itu. Hari ini aku tidak akan mengembara jauh dari kawananku sendiri.’
