सूत उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा विश्वामित्रो मुनीश्वरः । वसिष्ठस्पर्धयोवाच मुनिमध्ये व्यवस्थितः
sūta uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā viśvāmitro munīśvaraḥ | vasiṣṭhaspardhayovāca munimadhye vyavasthitaḥ
Sūta berkata: Mendengar ucapannya, sang resi-agung Viśvāmitra—berdiri di tengah para resi—berbicara karena tersentuh persaingan dengan Vasiṣṭha.
