भूतपीडार्दितो यश्च बृहत्साम जपेन्नरः । पितृवज्जायते तस्य स भूतोऽप्यंतकोऽपि चेत्
bhūtapīḍārdito yaśca bṛhatsāma japennaraḥ | pitṛvajjāyate tasya sa bhūto'pyaṃtako'pi cet
Dan orang yang tersiksa oleh gangguan bhūta (makhluk halus) lalu melafalkan Bṛhatsāman, maka bhūta itu menjadi seperti ayah baginya, sekalipun ia makhluk yang mematikan.
