प्रतिकूलो भवेद्यस्तु पाथिवानां स मन्दधीः । न तस्य जायते सौख्यं कथंचिद्द्विजसत्तम

Transliteration

pratikūlo bhavedyastu pāthivānāṃ sa mandadhīḥ | na tasya jāyate saukhyaṃ kathaṃciddvijasattama

Translation

Namun siapa yang memusuhi para raja, ia berhati tumpul; wahai yang utama di antara kaum dvija, baginya kebahagiaan tidak akan lahir dengan cara apa pun.
