ततोऽर्द्धरात्रे चागत्य मया सुप्ता च भार्गवी । हृत्वा स्वभवने नीता निशि सुप्ते जने तदा

tato'rddharātre cāgatya mayā suptā ca bhārgavī | hṛtvā svabhavane nītā niśi supte jane tadā

Kemudian, pada tengah malam, aku datang; dan Bhārgavī sedang tertidur. Aku membawanya pergi ke kediamanku sendiri sementara orang-orang tidur di malam hari.
