अथासौ प्रणिपत्योच्चैः प्रोवाच द्विजसत्तमान् । जलभ्रांत्या सुरा पीता मया कुरुत निग्रहम्
athāsau praṇipatyoccaiḥ provāca dvijasattamān | jalabhrāṃtyā surā pītā mayā kuruta nigraham
Lalu ia bersujud hormat dan berkata lantang kepada para brāhmaṇa terbaik: “Karena keliru mengira air, aku telah meminum surā; mohon tetapkan disiplin (nigraha) yang semestinya bagiku.”
