Skanda (deduced)
Type: kshetra
Listener: viṣṇu-vallabha devotees / dvija audience implied
Scene: A Viṣṇu devotee offers water to brāhmaṇas; pilgrims circle the shrine four times; the background subtly shows the ‘moving and unmoving’ world—animals, trees, rivers, and celestial motifs—contained within the sacred circuit.
Charity and disciplined tīrtha-circling become direct means for devotees to draw near to Hari.
The verse continues a general tīrtha-ritual glorification in Chapter 240; it highlights the merit of the practice rather than naming the location.
Give water as charity/offering and perform circumambulation four times, praised as spiritually all-encompassing.
