Transliteration

purā brahmamukhācchrutvā nānāvratavidhānakam | nāradaḥ paripapraccha bhūyo brahmāṇamādarāt

Translation

Dahulu, setelah mendengar dari mulut Brahmā sendiri berbagai tata cara dan ketentuan vrata, Nārada kembali bertanya kepada Brahmā dengan penuh hormat.
