यो जपेत्पौरुषं सूक्तं स्नात्वा विष्णोः स्थितोऽग्रतः । मतिस्तस्य विवर्धेत शुक्लपक्षे यथोडुराट्
yo japetpauruṣaṃ sūktaṃ snātvā viṣṇoḥ sthito'grataḥ | matistasya vivardheta śuklapakṣe yathoḍurāṭ
Barang siapa setelah mandi berdiri di hadapan Bhagavān Viṣṇu dan melantunkan Pauruṣa Sūkta, pemahamannya bertambah mantap, laksana bulan yang menebal pada paruh terang.
