Transliteration

kṣutpipāsārditā ye ca ta ūcurdainyamāśritāḥ | stutvā'tha sustavairdivyaiḥ pitṛsūktaiśca pārthiva

Translation

Wahai raja, mereka yang tersiksa oleh lapar dan dahaga berkata dalam kerendahan hati. Lalu, setelah memuji dengan kidung-kidung ilahi yang luhur serta sūkta suci bagi para Pitṛ, mereka menyampaikan permohonan.
