ततः प्रोवाच विजने वासुदेवं घृणान्वितः । ताताहं विप्रलब्धस्तु नंदिन्या तव भार्यया
tataḥ provāca vijane vāsudevaṃ ghṛṇānvitaḥ | tātāhaṃ vipralabdhastu naṃdinyā tava bhāryayā
Kemudian, di tempat sunyi, dengan hati dipenuhi welas asih, ia berkata kepada Vāsudeva: “Wahai Ayah, sungguh aku telah diperdaya oleh Nandinī—istrimu.”
