शुक्लपक्षं समासाद्य तारापतिरिवांबरे । वर्धमानस्य तस्यैवमतीताः पंच वत्सराः । बालक्रीडाप्रसक्तस्य पितुरुत्सङ्गवर्तिनः
śuklapakṣaṃ samāsādya tārāpatirivāṃbare | vardhamānasya tasyaivamatītāḥ paṃca vatsarāḥ | bālakrīḍāprasaktasya piturutsaṅgavartinaḥ
Seperti paruh terang bulan bertambah laksana penguasa bintang di angkasa, demikian pula sang bocah kian berkembang. Maka berlalu lima tahun—ia larut dalam permainan kanak-kanak dan tetap berada di pangkuan ayahnya.
