न वरिष्याम्यहं तेन सुतां तेऽहं नरसिप । निर्दाक्षिण्यमिति प्रोच्य दशार्णाधिपतिस्तदा

na variṣyāmyahaṃ tena sutāṃ te'haṃ narasipa | nirdākṣiṇyamiti procya daśārṇādhipatistadā

Karena itu, wahai penguasa manusia, aku tidak akan menikahi putrimu.” Sambil berkata, “Ini tidak sesuai dengan kepatutan dharma,” raja Daśārṇa pun mengucapkan demikian pada saat itu.
