Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 48
पितोवाच । युक्तं पुत्रानया प्रोक्तं मात्रा तव हितं तथा । ममापि संमतं ह्येतत्करिष्यामि न संशयः
pitovāca | yuktaṃ putrānayā proktaṃ mātrā tava hitaṃ tathā | mamāpi saṃmataṃ hyetatkariṣyāmi na saṃśayaḥ
Sang ayah berkata: 'Nak, apa yang dikatakan ibumu itu pantas dan demi kebaikanmu. Aku pun setuju dengan hal ini; aku akan melakukannya—tidak ada keraguan.'
