प्रजगाम द्विजश्रेष्ठाः शून्येन मनसा तदा । प्रतिभाति तदा गीतं तस्या मधुरमप्यहो
prajagāma dvijaśreṣṭhāḥ śūnyena manasā tadā | pratibhāti tadā gītaṃ tasyā madhuramapyaho
Wahai yang terbaik di antara para dvija, saat itu ia melangkah dengan batin yang hampa. Bahkan nyanyiannya yang manis pun kala itu terasa lain, seakan berubah.
