दक्षेणाहं पुरा सृष्टश्चंद्रार्थं कुपितेन च । रोहिणीं सेवमानस्य संत्यक्तान्यासुतस्य च
dakṣeṇāhaṃ purā sṛṣṭaścaṃdrārthaṃ kupitena ca | rohiṇīṃ sevamānasya saṃtyaktānyāsutasya ca
“Dahulu kala Dakṣa menciptakanku dalam murka, demi Sang Bulan—sebab Candra hanya melayani Rohiṇī dan menelantarkan putri-putri yang lain.”
