एवं मे गुरुतां प्राप्तो मधुपो द्विजसत्तमाः । इषुकारो यथा जातस्तथा चैव ब्रवीमि वः

Demikianlah, wahai yang terbaik di antara para dwija, aku memperoleh kewibawaan guru—laksana lebah madu yang menghimpun sari. Dan sebagaimana sang pembuat anak panah (iṣukāra) menjadi terampil, demikian pula aku menyatakan ajaran ini kepadamu.
