Bahkan perempuan yang malang dan mandul pun dapat menjadi berputra—bila, berbekal disiplin bhakti-yoga, pada Śuklāṣṭamī (hari kedelapan paruh terang) bulan Caitra, di tengah malam pada tirtha itu juga, ia menyiapkan piṇḍikā persembahan beserta naivedya dan bali.
